The Children and staff had a lovely time visiting St Martin’s Church in the town centre before Christmas. They saw and learnt about the different features of a church and how it is a place of worship for Christians.

Year 1
The children learnt about the Nativity story and reflected on how it is remembered and celebrated at Christmas time by Christians. They also thought about how joy was shown for the birth of Jesus. Class 5 and 8 practised really hard and gave wonderful performances of The Nativity Story for the school and parents, well done!
