Free School Meals Vouchers

From January 2021, whilst schools are closed the majority of children (except those who are children of Critical Workers, as well as Vulnerable Children), The Government are providing Free School Meals vouchers for children who are eligible and not attending school.

Each week, eligible families will receive an email from the company Edenred that provides them with the details to allow them to download and use the eVoucher provided.  The voucher is for £15 per week, per child, which equates to £3 per child each day.  The voucher should then be used to provide appropriate food and drink for the child.

Vouchers can be used in the following supermarkets: Aldi; ASDA; Company Shop Group; Iceland; M&S Food; McColl's; Morrisons; Sainsbury's; Tesco; Waitrose (John Lewis).

During the February Half Term holidays, a slightly different process is being put into place, organised by a company called Sodexo.  Again, you will receive an email that outlines how to access the eVoucher that has been provided.

To help support you with this process, parents/carers have been provided with two useful documents (these might be useful if you are having difficulty accessing the eVoucher):
