Ordinarily Available Guidance

At our school, we follow Birmingham’s Ordinarily Available Guidance to ensure that all pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), receive high-quality, inclusive teaching and support. This guidance sets out the strategies, provision and reasonable adjustments that should be available in every classroom, without the need for additional specialist support.

Through this approach, we aim to meet the needs of all learners by adapting teaching, providing targeted support, and creating an environment where every child can feel valued and succeed. We work closely with families and external professionals where needed, ensuring that support is personalised and responsive.

Our commitment to Ordinarily Available Guidance reflects our dedication to inclusion, early identification of needs, and enabling all children to achieve their full potential.
